August is a HINGE month that will see some old spiritual doors shut, and new spiritual doors opening to God's children.

The prayers we say in August will determine our future. Bear in mind that prayer means communication with God.

Isaiah 11:2 - Pray For the Sevenfold Spirit of God to rest upon the Church (across denominations) in Britain i.e:

• The spirit of wisdom and understanding


• The spirit of counsel and power


• The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord

Eph 1:17-18 - Pray for God to release greater deposits of His Spirit of wisdom and revelation to Christians so that we may know Him better.

• Pray for faith of Christians in the U.K to increase especially in the light of the recent floods, to see the coming glory of God to the church


• Pray for comfort and restoration of victims of the recent flooding in the UK


• Pray for increase of revelation in the land so that understanding and direction may come to the praying saints in the UK

2 Chron 7:14 - Repentance is key to the future

In the aftermath of flooding in the UK:

• Pray for hearts of Christians in the UK to receive revelation of repentance as a necessary key to the future of the nation (Acts 3:19)


• Pray for victims of the recent flooding, in particular pray that their hearts will not blame God for losses and their lips will not blaspheme (James 1:13)


• Pray for waves of repentance to flood the land and for God to accept our humble sacrifice of self at this time (Roms 12:1)

Repentance leads to forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9)

• Pray for Christians who do repent of sin to receive forgiveness and to prepare for times of refreshing (Acts 3:19)


• Pray against condemnation and for greater revelation of God's saving grace through the blood of Jesus to be released to the church in the UK (Roms 8:1-2)


• Pray for desire to know God as the covenant keeping God and for desire to embrace God's Word amongst Christians in the UK (Ps 50:5)


• Pray for victory mindset to replace defeatist mindset in the church and for hope to arise with the Christian community in the UK (Prov 23:18)
