Romans 8: 29

Who are you? Do you know?

Have you struggled with your self worth? With a need to be accepted and fear of rejection?

Have you put on 'masks'? Become something you're not really? Got into a style of music you don't really like? Got into a style of clothes that isn't really you? Tried to get on with people because they are popular?

At the core of who we are I believe each of us has an identity. We can crave (without even realising it) to know who we really are and this identity can get totally lost through circumstances in our lives.

This is a dangerous place to be in as we can become an empty container allowing anything to go in and this empty container can cause us a lot of pain.

God didn't intend for it to be this way. He is a good Father who has only good thoughts towards us. He created each of us individually, just as he created us with our own individual fingerprints, and He cares so much about us, He even knows about every single hair on our head.

The Fathers heart towards each of us is that our identities be found in Christ:

Romans 8: 29 'For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.'

His ways are perfect and the Father can trust His Son as He is lowly and humble of nature. He will treat us with dignity and respect and as we embrace His ways and His principals to live by, every one of them brings us freedom and liberty and into the fullness and abundance that He has promised.

He has a plan for each of our lives, things for us to do, places for us to go, individual plans, a destiny.

Let Him fill the void within. Align yourself with Him and His word. Follow Him. There's no-one that loves you more. CR
