Matt 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Suppose you inherit a million pounds from your Auntie Mabel; it's sitting there under your mattress. If you just left it there for 20 years, that million pounds would not be worth the same in society then as it is now. It would devalue over the years. If you're going to make that million pounds increase in value you take the money and re-invest it to make more money. You create new wealth from what you have. So, maybe in 20 years time you've got 15 or 20 million pounds from your investing. You have created new wealth that you can live in the good of and pass on to others.

It's the same in God's Kingdom. We inherit so much from God; his life, love, healing, power, authority, holiness, joy, freedom, eternal life etc. From this inheritance He wants us to make some investments. He wants there to be a return on His investment in us.

Where are you in your journey with God?

Many of us are where we are because others (leaders, parents etc) have paid a price, gone before us and have received things from God. They have then invested in us through teaching, training, encouragement and by example which has enabled us to grow and move with God in a much quicker way than if we had just searched them out ourselves. You are a return on the investment they have put in you.

In the same way you have so much to invest in others. You can help someone grow and move on more with God.

Jn 15:16
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last.

Write down what you have received from God. See what He has invested in you. Then see what you have to invest in others. As other people have made a difference in your life so you can make a difference also.

Don't keep what you have under the 'mattress', take hold of it and create something in others.  CR
