Reaching youth and the wider community through FM radio, contemporary Christian music and a globally influential website

Cross Rhythms is transitioning to a new level! Here is some very significant news:

• In 2008, statistics show that the Cross Rhythms website saw nearly 900,000 different users from around the world.


• In addition the 4 FM radio stations that we support in Stoke, Plymouth, Teesside and Coventry have a combined potential reach of over 1 million people.

This media influence is considerable and includes:

• partnering and supporting national youth ministries such as Audacious, RockNations, Chip K (Theshowwithnoname), and Shell Perris (Girls' Night In)


• engaging with all sectors of society (politics, health, education, employment, entertainment, business etc)


• presenting powerful, prophetic prayer programmes such as Breakthrough Nights


• delivering 12 different weekly radio programmes to other stations in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Malta, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, 18 stations in Canada, The Caribbean, Lesser Antilles, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Bethlehem and Jerusalem

God has entrusted much into our hands but it is only because of the support of many that we have been able to be this effective...

If we weren't already achieving enough, in the first 7 weeks of the year a staggering 17 other opportunities presented themselves. Here are some that we are now responding to:

1) A brand new weekly music show on a radio station in Bethlehem!
2) Prayer for healing on the streets outside our city centre base.
3) A partnership to run quality music gigs.
4) An opportunity to increase our presence in the city with a community café.

God is aligning us for greater effectiveness, but we need YOUR help to deliver them...

We work hard to deliver all the above at the highest standard but people are surprised that we do all this with only 8 full time employees, 2 part timers and 25 volunteers. And we do so on the tightest of budgets - only £240,000 per year!*

Compared to the manpower and budgets of other Christian broadcasters, which run into multiple millions, we punch well above our weight. In reality though it is too tight. We are continuously overstretched.

THE MILLIONS

25 years ago God called us to reach 'Thousands, no, millions for Christ through media'.

We have reached our thousands through music magazines and ministry festivals; our tens of thousands through daily radio shows; and our hundreds of thousands through those who interact with the features, forums, chat and prayer rooms on our website.

God has done incredible things with this ministry. He has positioned us into highly significant spheres of influence - reaching a youth generation and engaging in shaping the culture and mindset in the marketplace of our cities.
