Let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint (Galatians 6:9, Amplified Bible). After being involved with young people for 13 years in the UK we are finally starting to see the kind of influence I dreamed about when I first became a Christian.

A few months ago, at the end of the Rocknations conference it felt as though we were standing at the beginning of what could become a revolution because of the history making week we had experienced.

Over the four days miracles occurred; cancers disappeared; the sick were healed; finance was given to help educate the poor in partnership with Compassion International and many young people found Jesus with potentially millions hearing the gospel through GOD TV broadcasts around the globe. The atmosphere was electric from the opening theme 'To Know You' by RPM to the closing note on Saturday evening. A breakthrough that set the tone for the conference came when Christine Caine from Hillsong Australia, after a stirring message about how she overcame adoption, abuse and rejection, resulted in over 100 young people making decisions for Christ!

With Andy Hawthorne (Founder of the Message Trust), Mal Fletcher (Director of Next Wave), guest bands such as LZ7, Titus, Zero Gravity with World Champion Thai Boxers, skate park, Pamper Zone, make-overs, basketball, football, cage football, climbing & graffiti walls, Sacred Dance, Rapper Marcus Lee, a five-a-side football tournament 'Battle of the Bands' - in short there was something for everyone.

"This is one of the premier events for teenagers and young adults in Europe today- get in touch with Rocknations, fast!" said Mal Fletcher (Next Wave Director).

RPM went on to record a live worship cd/dvd capturing incredible energy and passion throughout the conference featuring many powerful new songs such as 'Thank You for the Cross', 'New Creation' and 'Give My All', amongst powerful worship anthems like 'Fire'.

While preaching the final message on the Saturday evening, God gave me a clear picture of young people starting a spiritual revolution in Europe. By the end of the conference over 160 young people had made decisions for Christ! Many young people had powerful encounters with God, some baptized in the Holy Spirit as they worshipped and there were a number of significant physical healings.....one person was healed from cancer, another from tissue damage to the lower spine, another from torn knee ligaments and another from dyslexia. God is good!

Much of what happened this summer will soon fade and become a distant memory. To be honest some memories need to be forgotten. Like the one about me dropping my rented Harley Davidson motorcycle while trying to ride down Lambert Street in San Francisco, which has the infamous title 'the crookedest street in the world!' That was an expensive mistake. The key is to forget and remember the right things.

New Creations

You and I are New Creations! The old has passed away and the new has come. That doesn't mean mistakes won't be made from time to time. It simply means that we refuse to be held back by them. After I dropped my motorcycle on that road, I simply picked it up, brushed off the debris and kept moving forward. Are you moving forward? Or do you hold yourself back by past mistakes? Have you allowed others past view of you to freeze yourself in time? I hope not! You are a New Creation! (2 Corinthians 5:17). It's time to brush off past mistakes and embrace your destiny. Set aside those things that try to hold you down and decide to move forward.

The Time is Now

After seeing how God moved at Rocknations, I am realizing that God is asking me to live at a higher level. In Acts 10:38, Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil. I keep asking myself, "How can I do more good? Is anyone sick around me? Who can I help?"

Your time is now! God has given you all the power you need through His Holy Spirit to cause revival in your location. Jesus' words keep echoing through my thoughts .... "Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest!" Wow! Your fields are ripe for harvest.

I believe the time is ripe for a revolution in Great Britain where young people spark a modern day revival unlike anything ever seen. Keep your courage, act nobly and do right because a harvest is just around the corner!  CR
