***Please note that this document was written in 2006, so reference to today is to June 14th 2006. I only felt the release to circulate it for prayer in the light of events in Britain today.

As I have been praying and interceding this morning for Britain I was reminded of an experience I had about a year ago (2005).

I was kneeling in prayer in the same room then as I was in this morning when I began to hear a voice outside my bedroom window. The hollowness of the voice indicated it was coming from the ground, which was strange to me. As I listened, the voice was initially faint, tired and weary but it seemed to grow in strength. When I asked of the Lord to know whose voice I was hearing and why it was coming from underneath the earth (under the soil). He made me understand I was hearing "The voice of Britain".

For some reason I seemed to recognise; then acknowledge, and affirm the voice I heard all at the same time. These emotions went through my mind in what must have been a split second. I seemed to have been spirited through doors of curious inquiry, enquiry to certain recognition and befriending in a way that reflected camaraderie. My heart was saying; "About time too! Come on Britain! Speak! Speak for yourself".

When I listened to hear the words being spoken by the voice of Britain, I was taken aback for she was calling for JUSTICE. I shared this experience with people in my immediate 'sphere of influence', however, my experience this morning [14/6/06] has left me with a burden to 'speak'. This burden to speak is resting on another burden; of "travailing prayer" or "birthing prayer" I have had since the beginning of June ('06). The first time I was called up to hear the 'Voice of Britain' was December 2004. The Lord commanded His angels to lift the skies over the nations of Britain on 20/12/04, and to my surprise the skies obliged like weak ceilings. I started to hear voices, not of the land, but of people... Christians! There were criticisms, slander, backbiting, false witness bearing, manipulative words but worse were opinions that would affect present and future divine partnerships. This went on for ten harrowing days. At the end of my 10day ordeal hearing negative words the Lord informed me London underground would be bombed the following year (2005). This confirmed an earlier vision of the London bombers which I had and submitted to a national Christian leader on 23/11/02 at a meeting with four others attending. To my shock, the 07/07/05 bombers met with the exact description of the three young Asian men with black rucksacks I described to our meeting group on 23/11/02 with the fourth bomber, a Caribbean, who was a late addition to the original group of bombers. The people who should have prayed were speaking negativity.

I have a concern that the church is perhaps not properly engaging or connecting with the heart of the Father and the voice of the land. Is the land coming in agreement with heaven in this season in ways we have not learned or are familiar with? I do not feel qualified myself to answer this question. But on Monday 12th June '06, as I prayed, I heard the word 'COUNTDOWN'. I was conscious of a word, which seemed to indicate occurrences of spiritual nature I choose to identify as 'shifts'. When interpreted these 'shifts' appeared to uncover events worth our attention as a prophetic community [Christians].

Today, 14th June '06, I was once more conscious of the word 'COUNTDOWN' [I heard the word with the ears of my spirit] but this time the count down was pointing to 16th June '06. I also found myself wondering what else the voice of Britain could have won as favour from God Almighty Who is recognised as the Owner of the earth and the heavens (Ps 24:1)?

When A Land Calls For Justice:

If heaven commits to fighting for justice for a land without the church, I personally believe the consequences would result in a clash of kingdoms. The clash I refer to could mean anything [such as floods] to a nation whose land has called for her own justice (Is 59:16-21).

Issues of injustice are often sorted in readiness for God's glory (Josh 3:5, Dan 7:10-11, 22-25, Is 60:1-3). It is not unusual or unbiblical for a land to have a voice or to call God's attention to issues when the church is distracted, wearied or embattled herself. As a matter of fact the Word of God declares; "For we know that the whole creation groans and labours with birth pangs together until now" (Roms 8:22). It is also apparent from the Word of God that "the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God" (Roms 8:19), hence the groaning referred to in verse 22. In blaming the church for being asleep, inactive, compromised and all, we must remind ourselves of four fingers that point back at an accuser. You are the church! (1 Cor 3:16-17, 6:19, 2 Cor 6:16, Eph 2:21,1 Pet 4:4-5).

After this experience, I became troubled in my spirit and felt torn between the fear of God and my own personal fears; should I speak up, I asked myself? I inquired of the Lord this morning what we were to do [how to respond] concerning the countdown to 16th June '06. I felt so strongly that the Lord needed some of us to respond with a clearly spoken; "Speak for Your servant hears", and for some others Isaiah's response of "Here am I! Send me" would be appropriate. In all, I would say within a corporate 'call to attention', I perceived embedded, personal responsibility in terms of how we are to receive, interpret, react, respond to prophetic insights. It is up to individuals to choose whatever actions each of us (as believers in Christ Jesus) understand heaven to be seeking from the earth. The Lord wants to reveal secrets to His people so my role and that of any person speaking as 'messenger' is to alert believers to the Lord's call and to share to the extent the Lord has mandated.

I sincerely believe the days of relying solely on the prophet to hear, interpret, respond and then be stoned are over. 2006 is a year that opens an age when the church must manifest attributes of Christ more so than ever, which include, "personal motivation and responsibility". Jesus exhibited attributes in His incarnate necessary for end-time survival. He so rightly commented; "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work (Jn 9:4). Jesus said; "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done" (Lk 22:42).

The reign of selfishness of the Church must come to an end or else we shall be judged by the injustices to Britain and the justice she has won in her appeals to heaven for help.
