Jeremiah 29:11

Let's be honest not many of us like losing - I know I don't. I like to be on the winning team, I like to be the one scoring the goals and feeling like a champion. The good news for me is that I was born to win and so were you.

In our youth group at present we are looking at the whole subject of winning and I don't know about you but I want to be a winning Christian, I want our young people to be winning young people, I want our youth group to be a winning youth group and I want our church to be a winning church. I believe with all my heart that God want the same!

This is what is says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." This verse has to be my favorite in the whole bible, every time I read it I feel inspired because I know that God has got awesome plans for my life. Those plans aren't pants little plans, but they are great plans; I don't really believe that God is a God of small plans.

So if God has got great plans for us then surely he believes that we are winners, in fact I would go as far as to say that when we were born we were born a winner. Whatever you are doing right know whilst reading this study, take a breather and just think about that for a minute. YOU WERE BORN A WINNER! In fact why don't you tell yourself right know that you were born a winner. Don't say it in your head or whisper it to yourself, say it to yourself with full confidence, knowing that God has got awesome plans for your life and that you are in fact a winner.

I dream of a changed nation in the UK and to see this happen we need people just like you and me who don't just believe they are winners but live like winners. Let me encourage and challenge you, make a choice right now to live a winning lifestyle. Encourage your friends, your family, your youth group and church to be winners and to live like winners. God deserves the very best so let's give him the best and see our nation changed!  CR
