The Big Church Day Out has been described by Cross Rhythms' music editor as "creatively and spiritually the most important event I have ever attended." On Wednesday 3rd June Cross Rhythms will be publishing a comprehensive report, Big Church Day Out 2015: In Words, written by seven journalists at the event. For the first part of our coverage however we present a unique photographic record by Ian Homer of two extraordinary days in West Sussex.

Cardiff-based Ian has been a professional photographer for 18 years. As well as being a regular contributor to Cross Rhythms Ian has had his work published in The Times, The Telegraph, The Daily Mirror and The Independent On Sunday and such magazines as Christianity Today, BBC Wildlife, Charisma and Cycling Weekly.

This is one man's record of when 25,000 men, women and children gathered to have two days of fun, hear some of the best music in the world and be impacted by the living God.
