Kirk Franklin, Twenty One Pilots, Vince Gill win Grammys

THE 2017 Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 12th February, honoured several Christian artists. The Best Pop Duo/Group Performance was won by Twenty One Pilots for "Stressed Out"' the Best Gospel Performance/Song was won by Tamela Mann for "God Provides"; the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song was won by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family for "Thy Will"; the Best American Roots Song was won by Vince Gill for "Kid Sister"; Best Contemporary Christian Music Album was won by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family for 'Love Remains'; the Best Roots Gospel Album was won by Joey+Rory for 'Hymns'; and the Best Gospel Album was won by Kirk Franklin for 'Losing My Religion'. Franklin was the songwriter for Tamela Mann's "God Provides" meaning that the two awards he won are his 11th and 12th Grammys. CR
