Keep fighting my brother and don't stop... God is a Deliver and he can take those things that hinder us away but we must keep fighting and praying for our deliverance and once delivered - maintain it and not be entangled again with that yoke of bondage. Just wanna encourage you my brother to go back and grab the horns of the altar and don't let go until you feel a breaking in your spirit.

Phew! Where do I start. I wish I could have direct personal correspondence with Tonex on his email address.
We African Christians have a tendency to be over simplistic 'Cmon Tonex Romans1 condemns gay life. just snap out of it and you will be fine' but I know that even though that is a valid attitude to it. things are not that simple in the first world.
So here is my effort to simplify and demystify it for you Tonex Dear. The bible says since the time is short. Christ's coming near 'Let those who are married be as though they are not' Tonex, why don't you engage Jesus in an intense dialogue on this subject 'Lord, what must I do to not miss heaven?' Remember Jeremaiah 3:3 ?

You are really a blessing to your generation Tonex.
Your voice is unique and never stop singing for God no matter what happens and let your faith be strong in him

When God is speaking we tend not to listen. Once you leave a door open, the enemy comes in and take all that he can and twists what we believe, just like how he told Adam he shall not surely die, but Adam did die 'spiritually' the devil had twisted the truth and it seemed right. This song that Tonex you sang, Lord make me over, this is what you were fighting and beseeching God to change you, but you then choose to turn away. I trust God that you will return unto him before it is too late. Go over that song you did (the words are below) and I pray that you are convicted. It is a shame to see how we allow the enemy to fool us with his counterfeit.

You know my other side
I can no longer hide
Let you down so many times
Sin freshly crucifies

Thought that I had a plan
had it all figured out
but the more that you tried to be by my side
the more I put you out

Lord make me over (repeat x 3)

Make me over again (repeat x 4)

Time after time I failed you
Pierced your side when they already nailed you
Jesus heal my open wounds
I just want to be more like you

Father I let you down
what's not like you just take it out
Reconcile me Jesus, I just want to please you
wash me and make me whole (hold)

Lord make me over (repeat x 3)

Make me over again (repeat x 4)
MAKE ME OVER AGAIN JESUS IM TIRED OF MYSELF TIRED OF MY EVIL WAYS EVERYDAY IS THE SAME TIME IS THE SAME THING IS THE SAME AND IM READY FOR CHANGE LORD CREATE IN ME A CLEAN HEART RENEW IN ME THE RIGHT SPIRIT SOMEBODY WAVE YOUR HANDS IN HERE AN HELP ME SAY OH OH OH IS ANYBODY SICK AND TIRED OF THEMSELVES OH OH OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

take it out of me jesus take out of me lord IM SICK OF MY FLESH LORD

When Tonex was blessing us out loud, Did we ask what sexual preference he had? I'm a 53 year old lady and I love this little child of God deep in my soul because he blesses me when I can't feel the spirit I put on Tonex. Which on of us is better than he? God sees his heart.

Millions of us Love U Tonex no matter what. So please don't stop blessing us through your music.

Hi Tonex,am exited to share with you and also encourage you.The Bible is the mind of GOD and 1Jhn1:9 talks of God's faithfulness in our lives(the forgiveness of our sins)...He's so loving and will not allow us to be ashamed.Rmns8:1 declares that we are not condemned because we are in Christ Jesus.God loves you so much Tonex and I prophesy to you that God will restore to you fully your dignity, ministry and your family...you will sing again but this time it'll be more than you have ever imagined.I'll continue praying for you and hopefully I anticipate to see you one day in one of the streets in the New Jerusalem that awaits us...God bless you abandantly.

Tonex, GOD does not make mistakes, no one wants to admit this. If you could make it go away, you would. People dont wake up one day and say i think i wanna be gay. The lady and the man that interviewed you were both judgemental, and neither of them looked like GOD to me. Shame on them they call themselves christians. What ever happened to no 1 sin is greater than the next? why is so much power placed on homosexuality? I could go on but whats the use they still gone harp on this issue and judge and put people down instead of trying to help. I loved your song and your song does not influence me none what so ever. So to the man that interviewed you, GOD u are not, leave the judging up to God. It makes you look bad.

i think that Tonex is a hurt person going through interan lstruggles trying to come to grips with what has happened in his life. He was molested when he was younger, his father passed, so he is searching for himself. The God of all salvation can deliver him from all things he is fighting, we just have to pray for him and not judge him because we dont know what he is going through. I DO NOT support homosexual life styles, but the do support human beings trying to find thier way back in life.
