American songstress Ashley Cleveland releases hymns project.

AWARD WINNING American singer Ashley Cleveland will shortly be releasing a hymns album on Rambler Records, a division of BHT Entertainment, the CCM company founded by music industry veterans Mike Blanton, Dan Harrell and Steve Thomas. The album, 'Men And Angels Say', is a collection of classic songs that portray the struggles and spiritual journey Ashley has experienced first-hand. The debut single from the project, is "It Is Well With My Soul". Said the singer, "This is a deeply personal album for me. When I was entrenched in alcoholism and drug addiction, the hymns that I grew up singing would come to me unbidden and forgotten for years, and I would come undone remembering the messages of hope and mercy in each song."

She is currently representing the Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee and playing shows across the nation to promote their SHARE CD, funded by the national Join Together/Demand Treatment Organization, which supports community-based efforts to reduce, prevent, and treat substance abuse across the USA. CR
