Dave Bainbridge plays with new band Azalya

NEW BAND Azalya played their first gig at Sheffield's The Lescar on 1st May. Included in the band is Iona's keyboard and guitar maestro Dave Bainbridge. He said, "As Iona is not that busy at the moment, it has given me the opportunity to explore a few other musical avenues. It is great to be working in a completely different musical setting with Azalya, though I'm sure that what I bring to the band will have some Iona influences." Azalya is the brainchild of drummer/percussionist Pete Fairclough who played percussion on Bainbridge's 'Veil Of Gossamer' album.
