Singer/songwriter Jo Ballard is distributing her first solo album for free.

UNIVERSITY student Jo Ballard is distributing free CDs of her three track single in the independent music shops ahead of her EP release later this year. The 19 year old, formerly of the band Baccaro, is currently recording the groundwork for the project which is as yet unnamed. Originally from the Isle of Wight, the acoustic singer takes inspiration from her faith and life for songs on the album. Having established herself as an artist in and around the University of Hertfordshire, Ballard is now hoping to branch out in to the mainstream. CR
