radioNicky Cruz and T.R.U.C.E. to minister in Hackney after ban is lifted
FOLLOWING extensive talks between the Metropolitan Police and Hackney Council, former gangland member turned evangelist Nicky Cruz will now be allowed to speak at two nights of meetings on 27th and 28th July at The Ocean, Hackney. The council had tried to stop Nicky Cruz from speaking at The Ocean after receiving complaints that his website contained offensive comments about homosexuality. Nicky apologised for the comments in a statement that was published in the Hackney Gazette stating, "I have nothing against gay people. I respect them and would never put them down. This is not for me to decide. I can't change what the Bible says, but the Bible also says to love everyone and I do love all of you. I just want to help...that's all."
Cruz will be accompanied by T.R.U.C.E., the rap group made up of
reformed gang members and drug dealers. The T.R.U.C.E. team have visited Hackney's 18
most crime ridden housing estates.

It is a pity that a man like Nicky had the chance to make a statemant for Christ but stopped due to outside pressure and in the course of that deneid his testimony and Christ. God said love one another, but He did not say unto us to love the wrong. Nicky must think twice.
He did not change his mind. He apologize if said anything hateful. but did not apologize for the gospel. he cearly said he cannot change the bible. we must not preach hate but love.
