Dave Barnes writes number one country hit for Blake Shelton

CRITICALLY acclaimed Nashville singer/songwriter Dave Barnes recently enjoyed his first major country hit when Blake Shelton recorded Barnes's song "God Gave Me You". Shelton's version reached the number one spot on the Billboard Country Singles chart. Barnes' version of "God Gave Me You" featured on 'What We Want, What We Get' was a Christian radio hit in 2010. Dave Barnes will release his fourth studio album for the Razor & Tie label this coming Spring. He recently wrapped recording the album with producer John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, Lifehouse).
