Southern gospel's Kirk Talley confesses struggle with homosexual temptation.

SOUTHERN GOSPEL artist Kirk Talley has cancelled all his American concerts after confessing to struggles in his sexual life and being identified as a witness in a federal extortion case. Talley told fans on his website that "for 30 or more years I have battled feelings of loneliness and depression, all stemming from the struggle of homosexuality." Talley also said he became a victim of extortion after someone threatened to go public with details of the Southern gospel artist's private life.

Talley has written five personal letters on his website since January describing his temptations and the actions he is taking now to be accountable. Talley is seeking restoration by undergoing counselling and many Southern gospel artists have rallied in support of the artist. CR
