The Del McCoury Band record gospel set 'The Promised Land'

BLUEGRASS giant Del McCoury has released a gospel project, 'The Promised Land'. The Del McCoury Band offer their interpretations of such songs as "The Lord is Writing Down Names" and "I'm Bound For The Land Of Canaan". McCoury also scoured the songwriting collection of Alfred E Bromley to find lesser known songs and his band offer versions of Bromley's "Led By The Master's Hand" and "It's Surprising What The Lord Can Do". Christian Retailing magazine call the album "a treasure trove of classic Americana."
