Bishop Manning & The Manning Family showcased on new CD

28 EARLY recordings by Bishop Manning & The Manning Family have been released by Fat Possum/Big Legal Mess on a compilation, 'Converted Mind'. A one-time blues guitarist and harmonica player, Bishop Manning renounced secular music to sing only gospel. According to the Red Lick catalogue, "Those blues and rockabilly chops remain very much in evidence." CR
