Singer Pat Boone in controversial song lyrics

VETERAN MOR singer and committed Christian Pat Boone has had his long-running Gospel America TV show cancelled by America's TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) alter he recorded a heavy metal album 'In A Metal Mood: 'No More Mr Nice Guy'. The album which features Boone remakes of songs by Metallica, Led Zeppelin and Alice Cooper and its subsequent publicity brought forth complaints from Trinity's conservative viewers. Commented Boone, "I thought everybody saw it for what it was, sort of a parody. Of course it was difficult for Christian people who have followed me for years and years. It seemed like I had burst out in some demented way."
