Portland's Braille readies 'The IV Edition' album

PORTLAND, Oregon rapper Braille, who has previously had a track from his 'Shades Of Grey Limited Edition' 2005 album featured on Cross Rhythms radio, will release his fourth album in April. 'The IV Edition' will be issued on Syntax Records/KOCH Entertainment. Produced by Marco Polo, the album features scratching from Rob Swift. Said Braille, "The underground hip-hop base is a lot bigger than people think it is. Sometimes when people think of the word 'underground', they think of basement albums that just get dubbed on tape. So I'm sticking to my roots. I believe that the audience for lyricism and good hip-hop is much larger than most people assume. I wanted to start with the hip-hop base and take it from there." CR
