Songsmith Denison Witmer returns with 'Carry The Weight' album

PHILADELPHIA-based singer/songwriter and Greenbelt favourite Denison Witmer has released a new album. The project 'Carry The Weight' is on Militia Records. Witmer told HM magazine, "In a way, 'Carry The Weight' ended up being this rebuttal argument to my last record, whereas 'Are You A Dreamer?' was all about getting into hope and mystery. I still subscribe to that, but I wasn't really buying what I was selling with that. There was some time with my friend and another relationship had ended during this time and the political situation of our country with the war, etc. I just wasn't feeling very hopeful these last couple of years. . ."
