TOP CHRISTIAN rock bands the Prayer Chain and The Throes were the victims of separate crimes following a concert in Dayton, Ohio while the two were on tour together. After a concert at Dayton's Canal Street Music Club in November, Prayer Chain members returned to the band's vehicle to find that it had been burglarised. More than 2,000 dollars in cash were stolen along with personal belongings.
At the same time The Throes lead singer/guitarist Bill Campbell was leaving to go to dinner with a friend when the two were carjacked and held at gunpoint for 30 minutes. Campbell's assailants brought him back to the club in an effort to obtain more money from the club owner. When they arrived, the Dayton police were at the club investigating the Prayer Chain robbery. As Campbell and his friend were released the assailants fled. They were subsequently apprehended by the police. CR
