Phil Keaggy guests on Jim Drew worship project

NEW YORK-based Jim Drew is currently working on a worship project, having temporarily put on hold the album he started recording with producer Randy Stonehill. Said Drew about the project, "Tony Hooper did some awesome guitar work and after six songs he suggested I have Phil on this project. I said, 'Phil who?' He said, 'Phil Keaggy'. I guess they had been working on a project with him helping. Tony hooked us up. Phil ended up on three of the songs on this rock/worship project, which is truly a classic '70s rock feel with some modern tones tossed in and with worship style lyrics and intent. I am down to the backing vocals on the tracks and making decisions about packaging and possibly vinyl and all of that stuff." CR
