CHRISTENDOM'S biggest ever hit maker, Sir Cliff Richard, is making a pitch for the coveted number one Christmas single. The A side of the single, to be released on 8th December, is "Santa's List", a number written by Christian songwriter Chris Eaton while the B side is "It's A Boy", a song written by Mick Gisbey and Simon Goodall and originally recorded on the Christmas concept EP 'It's A Boy'. In an interview with GMTV Cliff told presenter Bill Shephard, "I found a song that's never been recorded before so you won't have heard it until I release it as a single. Obviously I like my singles, but only time will tell whether or not it'll be number one at Christmas. It's impossible to tell these days. And if someone's got a better record, I'll have to be number two."
