Survivor Records celebrate 10 years with 'Survivor: Ten Years' compilation

TO CELEBRATE their 10 years of existence Eastbourne-based Survivor Records have released a double CD, 'Survivor: Ten Years'. The compilation features 33 tracks from such artists as Matt Redman, Paul Oakley, Tree63, Tim Hughes, Yfriday, Beth Redman, Martyn Layzell, Onehundredhours, Hillsong United and Brenton Brown. Said the company's Les Moir, "Survivor Records was started 10 years ago in response to a move of God amongst youth in the UK. Thousands began gathering together in worship - and many new songs flowed out as the Holy Spirit inspired a new wave of creativity. No one knew then that these songs would be sung right across the globe. They became anthems of a movement - the soundtrack of a generation seeking to express their love for Jesus. As a record label, we've sought to ride this wave - identifying new and fresh worship music and making it available all around the world."
