Studio announces new album

ICC, the Eastbourne-based studio which over the last three years has become a significant force as a record company in British CCM, have announced a new label committed to developing grassroots artists. The label ICY "will provide a platform for new grassroots artists to develop their studio skills and to allow an outlet for their music throughout Europe."
To launch the initiative, ICY have contracted three artists, folk roots team Why?, Leeds rap duo HOG and St Albans acid jazz band Capitaan. Both Capitaan and HOG kick off with EPs (reviewed this issue) while Why? will debut with 'Jig At A Why? Gig Live' album recorded earlier this year at Shepton Mallet. CR
