Building 429 utilise fans' voices on upcoming album

ON THE upcoming album by North Carolina-based pop rockers Building 429, 'Unashamed', the band recorded about 35 fans who joined the group at a ballroom at Nashville's Gaylord Opryland Hotel which had been turned into a temporary recording studio. Lead singer Jason Roy, who stepped into the role of choir director and taught the fans the choruses of three new songs, said, "As people notice about our songs when they come to our concerts, we encourage a lot of singing along. A lot of times when we record gang [background] vocals, it's just me and one of the other guys singing it about 20 times and it being mixed in the studio. It gets boring. There is something cool about the live element, about singing together." 'Unashamed' is scheduled to be released on 25th September. CR
