Hip-hop and bluegrass fuse with Georgia-based band Whosoever South

A NEW genre of music, "country crunk", is promised by Southern Georgia-based band Whosoever South. Their debut album 'Goin' Home' is produced by Asaf Fulks (Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne) and is said to combine "street savvy influences like TobyMac and Lecrae with country and bluegrass styles similar to the T Bone Burnett-produced 'O Brother Where Art Thou' soundtrack, for an unconventional but infectious bass-thumping sound that serves as the catalyst for a dynamic ministry." 'Goin' Home' is released by Pitbull Productions on 14th May. CR

PRAISE THE LORD ! Way to go WHOSOEVER SOUTH ! I am so proud of Rowdy and the whole group, dancers and all. Their type of gospel music has reached so many young people that would never have listened to it any other way. RAP His word on, you are doing a great job at getting it done !
