Cross Rhythms radio goes online

CONTEMPORARY Christian radio station UCB Cross Rhythms can now be heard on the Internet. UCB Cross Rhythms, who broadcast 24 hour a day contemporary music and teaching programmes on the Astra satellite across Europe, can now be heard worldwide by accessing their website www.cross-rhythms.co.uk

The surprise development comes following contact with Icelandic Christian Broadcasters' Julius Juliusson. ICB broadcast Christian radio to 70 per cent of Iceland on their station Microphone FM, supplementing Icelandic broadcasts with UCB programming. Following their step into Internet radio, ICB took the initiative to broadcast UCB Cross Rhythms, with live streaming, 24 hours a day, across the World Wide Web. Said Julius Juliusson, "We had a verse from the Bible when praying about broadcasting UCB Cross Rhythms on the Internet. 'But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.' (John 20:31) After reading that we felt sure about contacting Cross Rhythms. Now, we are already getting some great emails from listeners around the world. One man from Australia had been away from God for three or four years. He was surfing the net, found UCB Cross Rhythms, and has now started going back to church." CR
