Diamond Rio release first Christian album 'The Reason'

AFTER TWO decades of making music, country vocal group Diamond Rio will be releasing their first ever Christian album 'The Reason' through Word in September.
Said group member Jimmy Olander, "We're revealing who we are. We're not preaching. We're not preachers, but we're saying, 'This is who I am and I'm proud of it'. God is working and we're here for a reason." Some of Christian music's most respected songwriters have contributed to the project, including Matthew West (Rascal Flatts, Point of Grace), Bernie Herms (Casting Crowns) and Chris Eaton (Vince Gill, Margaret Becker).

The autobiography Beautiful Mess from Thomas Nelson will coincide with the release of 'The Reason'. The band's first book chronicles both Diamond Rio's personal and professional legacy.
