Darwin Hobbs rushed to hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, with heart failure.

AMERICAN gospel star Darwin Hobbs was rushed to hospital in Atlanta suffering from congestive heart failure on 19th January. While doctors told him that his heart was weakened and only beating at 15% efficiency, there were no blockages or blood clots to be concerned about. Having already lost 50 pounds in the past 4 months through dramatic changes in his lifestyle, Darwin's doctors assure him that he is on the road to recovery and that his heart will continue to strengthen with continued adjustments to his diet and lifestyle as well as aggressive medication. At the news of Darwin's hospitalisation, Bishop Eddie L Long, Darwin's pastor at the Atlanta, Georgia-based New Birth Cathedral, called a prayer vigil on his behalf. "This sickness is not unto death, but that the glory of God be manifested in and through Darwin's healing," says Bishop Long. "Darwin is still full with much more to deliver to this world to advance the Kingdom."
