Rock band The Cutting Edge Band in name change

THE POPULAR pop rock praise and worship band the Cutting Edge Band have changed their name to Delirious? The band's leader, singer, producer and worship leader Martin Smith explained, "We were running events in Littlehampton called Cutting Edge and the band came to be known as the Cutting Edge Band by default though we never really liked it. Now that we're doing things in our own right we wanted our own name."
The name Delirious? goes alongside Furious? - the independent record company owned by Smith which has recently repackaged the popular Cutting Edge Band cassettes onto CD. The current line up of Delirious? is Martin Smith (vocals, guitar), Stuart Garrard (guitar), Tim Jupp (keyboards), Jon Thatcher (bass) and Stewart Smith (drums). Among the events Delirious? will be playing this year are Soul Survivor and Essential (Exeter Showground). Other plans include a tour of South Africa in the summer.
