Songsmith Gareth Davies-Jones gets radio and internet exposure

SINGER/songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones is tomorrow playing the first of six concerts in Scotland. Davies-Jones has recently picked up radio exposure on both Aled Jones' Good Morning Sunday show and Bob Harris. As a result of the airplay the songsmith may well bring out "Breathe" from the 'Water & Light' album as a single sometime in September.

Another song by Gareth, his arrangement of the Christmas carol "In The Bleak Midwinter", was featured in the documentary The Prisoner And The Budgerigar. The documentary has now been nominated for Best Internet Programme at the Sony Radio Awards 2009. The Awards ceremony will be held on 11th May. CR
