Announcement for Cross Rhythms festival Destiny Calling

THE FIRST batch of artists have been announced for Cross Rhythms '96 festival 'Destiny Calling'. They include the Resurrection Band (pictured) and Tony Loeffler And The Blue Angels from the USA, Viola from Sweden, Angela DiPrima from South Africa and Terl Bryant, S'dANCE, River, Steve Parsons, If Only, Flow, Caroline Francis, HOG, Jeff Pain and As If... from the UK. Speakers so far confirmed for the event are Tom Brock from Hawaii and Tony Fitzgerald from the USA. Said the festival's music organiser Tony Cummings, "We are thrilled with the way the festival is shaping up this year. It will have a particular international dimension this year and we hope to offer a platform to bands, musicians and speakers from as many countries as possible. What God is building here in Devon is wonderfully exciting."
Amongst the events lined up for 'Destiny Calling' are a 4-hour Sanctified Dance Party in the Mega Tent, a fashion show based on the theme of Creation, and a Sunday Worship day which will incorporate a wide variety of worship modules including pop, Celtic, dance and metal.
