Group 1 Crew release '#Faster' EP

R&B and hip-hop hitmakers Group 1 Crew have released the digital EP '#Faster' through Word Entertainment. The project features guest vocalists Moriah Peters, Jonathan Thulin and Rachael Lampa and is the first of two Group 1 Crew EPs to be released in the coming months. A track from the project, "A Little Closer", deals with the theme of those in the Church caught up in perfectionism or a legalistic faith and is currently getting major US airplay. Said the Crew's Manwell Reyes, "For a long time, I felt like my Christianity was based on performance; it was about making sure that I was good enough to be called a Christian. And then I realised that God truly expects us not to be perfect, but to trust in the One who is perfect. I pray that through this song, you will draw a little bit closer to understanding that God loves you where you're at, and is excited for where you're going."
