radioDavid Fitzgerald to present series of seven TV programmes to trace journey of Christian music
TOP CHRISTIAN horn player and ICC artist David Fitzgerald is presenting a series of
seven TV programmes 'First Light' which trace the "journey of
Christian music". The weekly series will run on Sundays starting the
end of December. Also recently filmed by Dutch TV is a documentary on
Fitzgerald's life and music going out on Dutch national TV.
At a
recent gig at the Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds woodwind supremo David Fitzgerald did a
set followed by one from Celtic team lona. This was the first time
they have been playing at the same gig since David left lona in
1992.
In 1996 David will be undertaking a major British tour
organised by Aad Vermeyden under the name 'An Evening With David Fitzgerald'. The
veteran horn man will be touring with two keyboard players and a
vocalist.
