The 'Songs For Luca' album raises over £12,000 for autistic child.

MONEY RAISED through the sales of the various artists album 'Songs For Luca' recorded to raise funds for Luca Bainbridge, the seven year old autistic son of musician Dave Bainbridge, has reached over £12,000. Through this money parents Dave and Debbie were able to take the whole family (plus a family friend to look after four year old daughter Evie) to the USA in February and for Luca and parents to attend the Son-Rise Intensive Course at the Autism Treatment Centre in Massachusetts. Said Dave Bainbridge, "It was a magical time which God blessed thoroughly from start to finish and which was really inspiring for us especially as we watched the Son-Rise child facilitators working with Luca with such love and enthusiasm. Luca continues to make good progress and we are continuing our home-based Son-Rise programme with him in his specially fitted out play room. We still need more money to fund the programme and the various support services that Son-Rise provide, which will be ongoing for at least the next year or two." CR
