Three bands to tour the former Yugoslavia

A SPECIALLY formed musical team CT3, made up of three Birmingham-based bands Hush, A.N.D. and Change Of Heart are going to the former Yugoslavia. The project, titled 'Come Together III' in conjunction with the Oak Tree Trust, is to provide ''musical aid which will promote peace, friendship and reconciliation while providing a spiritual lift and new hope to a suffering people." The 18-strong party will set off on 30th July and will be playing in Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia. The tour, entirely self-financed, will be undertaken in three gruelling weeks. Demand for the bands has been so great that included in the itinerary are concerts at 30,000-seater football stadia.

The previous two 'Come Together' tours in 1993 and 1995 centred around the Minsk area of Belarus - where the musicianaries ministered to people affected by the Chernobyl disaster.
