US collective Gungor to release new album in September

THE AMERICAN band Gungor, who are visiting the UK to play such festivals as Creation Fest and Greenbelt, will be releasing their new album 'Ghosts Upon The Earth' on 20th September. The project is produced by the group's namesake, Michael Gungor, and was primarily written by Michael and his wife Lisa who is also a featured vocalist in this musical collective. Recorded in numerous locations, including the Gungor's home, the album also includes 17 players, four additional vocalists, a six-person string ensemble and a boys' choir. Inspiration for the album was orchestrated from Gungor's week-long meditation in Assisi where he was inspired by the Saint's view of the world, as well as from the birth of his daughter last year.
