Open Doors & Global March For Jesus '98 join hands

BROTHER ANDREW, the founder of Open Doors, has backed Global March For Jesus '98. A statement by the veteran campaigner for the suffering church was heard at the March For Jesus Prayer For London event, which drew 1,300 people to Westminster Chapel.

Said Brother Andrew, "To help our persecuted brothers and sisters in restricted countries, we have to get up and go, leave our comfort zones, move out of our churches and proclaim the name of Jesus where it is dangerous to do so. That's why I'm so excited about Open Doors joining hands with Global March For Jesus, to proclaim his name and be part of the biggest ever prayer meeting for the suffering church."

Global March For Jesus 1998 will take place around the world on 30th May. Lynn Green, one of the co-founders of March For Jesus, commented. "Brother Andrew and Open Doors has won the respect of many for its selfless help for the suffering church. The courage, boldness and unbowed spirit of the suffering church sets an example to us all. It is the silent dimension of the global marches."
