Gospel compilation double CD released through HMV shops.

CROSS RHYTHMS editor Tony Cummings has compiled a mainstream released album of old gospel music. The project, 'Global Roots: Gospel', features material, mainly from the '50s and '60s, by such acts as The Blind Boys Of Mississippi, Aretha Franklin, The Dixie Hummingbirds, Little Richard, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, The Mighty Clouds Of Joy, Sensational Nightingales and Al Green. The double CD retails at £8.99 and is sold exclusively through HMV stores. CR
