Cathy Burton formerly of rock band Blueberry to release solo album

BRITISH singer Cathy Burton, who rose to popularity with the rock band Blueberry, is currently recording her solo album debut 'Burn Out1. Recorded in the home studio owned by Cathy's recording engineer husband Paul Burton, the project, to be released independently, will feature such well known musicians as Paul Evans (Blueberry) and Marc James (Dust) and is produced by Andrew Phillip (who's previously worked on such projects as The Peoples' Album'). Amongst the 11 songs being recorded is a new version of "Hollow", the popular Blueberry oldie, and the title track, a song about someone struggling to work through their confusion. Said Cathy about the album, "We are looking for something really fresh in the album, coming away from the rock sound of Blueberry and concentrating on strong melody and powerful lyrics." CR
