US authors team up with musicians for new approach to touring

AMERICAN magazine Christian Retailing have reported on "an influx of new look live events twinning music and speaking." Observers say the idea of putting authors and musicians together is "an innovative way to connect with Christian audiences." Amongst the tours reported on are Max Lucado with Michael W Smith, Toby Mac and Third Day and Donald Miller with Derek Webb, Sandra McCracken and Robbie Seay Band.
