The mainstreams' contemporary bluegrass team Nickel Creek release third album.

BLUEGRASS revisionists Nickel Creek have released their third album through Sugar Hill, 'Why Should The Fire Die?' It has just been given a five star "instant classic" rating by Mojo magazine, who raved, "With a leavening of Irish jiggery, country pop and bluegrass Led Zeppelin riffing, the San Diegans' third album throws out the genre manual and leaves every cell, body and soul buzzing."
