Iona play London Festival Hall to celebrate decade together

IONA EMERGE from a year long sabbatical to play a concert at London's Festival Hall on May 29th. The band will be recording a live album at the gig and working with the All Souls Orchestra. The performance will include new orchestral arrangements of classic material not previously recorded on 'Heaven's Bright Sun' as well as showcasing two new pieces. There will also be guest appearances from former lona members Dave Fitzgerald and Nick Beggs to help celebrate the band's 10th anniversary. Talking to Cross Rhythms Dave Bainbridge said, "Troy and I have been working on the orchestral arrangements which will include epics like 'Man' and 'Encircling'. One of the newer tunes which Troy has written is about 10 minutes long." CR
