Released in record stores and Christian bookshops, the Jesus soundtrack is available

THE SOUNDTRACK to a four-hour TV special, Jesus, set for British screens on Sky Premier on 21st and 22nd April is to be released into record stores and Christian bookshops. The multi-artist soundtrack to the $24 million film features songs penned and performed by a diverse mix of Christian and mainstream artists. Amongst the artists featured are LeAnn Rimes, dc Talk, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael English, Hootie & The Blow fish, Jaci Velasquez, 98 (degrees), Sarah Brightman, Avalon, Yolanda Adams and arranger/composer Patrick Williams.
The series, directed by Roger Young, features an international cast including Jeremy Sisto as Jesus, Gary Oldman as Pontius Pilate, Jacqueline Bisset as Mary and Jeroen Krabbe as a "modern" Satan. CR
