Scottish singer/songwriter Jonee wins international songwriters competition

PAISLEY-based singer/songwriter Jonee has won an international songwriter's competition. Jonee Mackel's song "I Would" featured on his recent independent album debut 'Take Me By The Hand' won first prize in the contemporary Christian music category of the Unisong competition. Jonee will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to play at a UK winners showcase event in London in spring 2002.
