After the collapse of STL, Kingsway now distributing themselves

IN THE March issue of Britain's trade magazine Christian Marketplace the executive director of Kingsway Music, John Paculabo, spoke about his company's decision to distribute Kingsway's music and books themselves. "Since Christmas we have loaded that warehouse up with bulk stock and we have already been despatching international orders for two weeks. Our systems are loaded, all product information is on the system, all bar codes are on, all ISBNs are loaded, our picking locations are all full and we're ready to press the button on Monday (1st Feb). We've doubled our warehousing capacity and we probably have around 25,000 sq feet now. Eventually we will probably employ six or seven extra staff, but not just in the warehouse, there are other positions we will need to fill as well. We've already increased our tele-sales team." CR
