Passion worship leader Kristian Stanfill signs with sixstepsrecords

AFTER SALES in excess of five million, US worship label sixstepsrecords, home (in the USA) to Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman and Passion, announces its first new artist signing since the label's inception in 2000. Worship leader Kristian Stanfill will join the sixstepsrecords family, releasing his label debut, 'Attention', in April after completing a three-month-long stint on Student Life's 2009 spring tour. An Atlanta native, Stanfill began playing music at 13, leading worship for his home church throughout high school. After graduating college in 2002, he started leading worship at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. It was there he met evangelist and founder of Passion and sixstepsrecords Louie Giglio. Stanfill subsequently became a regular Passion worship leader and is featured on the projects 'Passion: Everything Glorious' CD and DVD (2006), 'The Best Of Passion (So Far)' (2007) and 'Passion: God Of This City' (2008).

Produced by Matt Goldman (Underoath, Copeland), 'Attention' will include 11 songs, six of which will be previewed on the 'Attention' EP available exclusively at iTunes and other digital music outlets. CR
