Libby Hodges departs from US teen pop group Jump5.

AMERICAN teen pop group Jump5 have announced that Libby Hodges will be departing the group. In a statement on the group's website Libby said, "I have decided to step out of Jump5. I can't tell you what a hard decision this has been. The hardest of my short life. There's no juicy gossip to have. We are all still really good friends and they have been nothing but SOOOO sweet to me. We are still supporting each other 100%. It's simply that I want to take a deep breath and see what exactly God wants me to do at this point in my life. This has not been a quick or easy decision but I have prayed about it for a long time. I'm actually going back to my old high school at home! You should have seen me the first day (yesterday)...nervous like a Kindergartener. Then today, Chris showed up and gave me a hug. Whoa! Is he great or what? I can't wait to see who God brings as a new member to Jump5. I know they'll be awesome and you'll welcome them with open arms. I know that Jump5 will succeed because I truly believe God WILL be in it."

I loved Libby. She was also my favorite. I eally want to meet her.

It's not that libby was my favorite because i love every member in jump 5 but it's actually sad not having the exact jump 5 all together anymore but it's still really sad that libby left

Libby was my favorite member. i cant believe she left. i love her voice. she should make her own record. i would buy it!

What?!!! No!!! Why? It's a petty, really. I'm from Argentina and I met them because of my cousins, and I thought u were so cool, but it was so sad to go to their web site and see only four of them, I'll miss her. Well, I hope God has something good for her, he's great!!!

That is so sad. i tell ya. its not goin to be the same. but if they do get a new memebr they should be as good as Libby.

Think Libby will make a great "new" member to Jump5. My 2 1/2 years old daughter loves Jump5 version of Beauty and the Beast. There was something special that shone on her face - she's lovely. Such a pity my toddler won't be able to catch her live!

NO!!!!! im soo sad she left!! she had one of the best voices!! though im glad that she followed God! thats always the best decison. Good Luck Libby!!
